If you acquired a copy of A Christmas Carol before break and would like to earn some extra credit, watch any version of the movie (so long as it's just called A Christmas Carol; no "Muppets" or "Mickey Mouse" or "Black Adder" (though the Black Adder Christmas Carol is fun...track it down)) and create a Venn Diagram contrasting book and film.

We also looked at how Kino's society was changed by the arrival of the Europeans and their cultural practices/values.
